Another chance to catch Steve Mewes' "Climate Change in Somerset" - 22/3/18, Wedmore

Written by: RTL Team on Thursday, March 08, 2018

Steve's talk in Shapwick was by all accounts very well received. If you missed it, he will be giving it again for the Isle of Wedmore Society, at Masonic Hall in Wedmore, Thursday 22nd March, 7.30pm.

Put the date in your diaries.

Steve says:

‘I’m hoping to do a series of talks in my role as Policy and Campaigns Manager at the Somerset Wildlife Trust on the subject of Climate Change, Nature and Somerset. As a Trust we are very concerned about how Climate Change could be devastating for nature in our beautiful county. This series of talks will hopefully start to spark a conversation about what is happening in the county and what we can do to prepare so that society and nature is better prepared. If you would like me to speak to your local organisation please email me on particularly if you are in the levels or on the coast, the areas most at threat.’

We've also just posted two links to interesting articles from the web. One from The Guardian on food and climate change, and one from Science Daily on soil and climate change.

Keep the links and news stories coming!
